Nagle Miller is a Michigan born and raised artist. She has been

Michigan with her husband Richard.
She has exhibited in many locations in Michigan, nationally and
in Germany. Angie has won numerous awards.
Angie was chairwoman of the Michigan Water Color Society
from 1989 to 1992 and president of the Ann Arbor Women
Artists from 1982-84.
She has primarily worked as a painter. Angie has had several
motifs over the years. She is known for landscape paintings and
her Egyptian series. However, recently she has has two new
series. The first series is based on Angels, Saints and other
biblical figures. The second series is a Meditation series.
Artist's Statement
"My art has evolved over the
years. My paintings reflect my personal moods and reactions to
life and my surroundings.
"Landscapes
have always been a primary subject of my paintings. These have
been motivated by my love of the land and my travels to all
fifty states in the USA and trips to Europe and Canada.
"My mind is constantly being
stimulated and I am always searching for new ways to express my
thoughts and visions. I have painted
scarves, done a series of sculptural painted fish, painted the
landscape in very stylized manners or abstracted the landscape
in a painting. However, I alway return to my
representative style of painting. Over the years it has evolved
from expressionistic to impressionistic and in recent years to a
more realistic style of painting.
"In the last few years with the
creation of my biblical and meditation series my works have
become more mythical and ethereal, reflecting my inner self."
